When Becky and Ron booked a trip, she was very clear – rods will be bent, not fishing for food, dont want tarpon, just want catch fun fish! 4 hours later and 20 plus fun size snook, 20-29 inches, all sight fished in plain view of some of Naples’ and Marco’s busiest waterways, all 3 of us were all smiles as we called it a day looking at some giants that just weren’t ready to eat. Toothpick sized rods, 10 lb braid, 20 lb flourocarbon leaders, #1 hooks, and pilchards were the tools and bait, and all the fish were sight fished in the crystal clear emerald waters washing our shorelines right now. Cant get enough of these kinda snook only days that leave wrists tired, and the boat so clean!
