Sight fishing for snook in Naples and Marco Island is just plain fun!

Chad from Missouri took advantage of a Corona related cancellation and booked a last minute trip today. Sometimes you just gotta leave the kids with mom, and go fish one on one with me, trade stories all morning, and and have a Maverick Master Angler as your private saltwater sofa. It was well worth the sacrifice, as we beat up a dozen plus snook, all sight fished, using ultralight rods and leaders, between Naples and Marco. The water has gotten gin clear and it feels like the Keys. Many really big fish were seen, a couple hooked and lost, and a coupla knee wobbling follows. No redfish, no trout, no catfish. But he will be enjoying some fresh snapper ceviche tonight as he tells the fishy stories of the day.
