Big family group and big fun fishing! When Chad called from Michigan and asked if we could squeeze his kids and their friends (6 total) on my boat, I grimaced, but said if everyone has good balance, and doesn’t mind getting cozy, we could make it work.
Well, the redfish, right out of the gate helped everyone get unwound and comfortable, and we wore out 10 dozen shrimp filling the box with reds and snapper and made my Maverick feel like big roomy floating dock!
As the day wore on, we continued to catch all kinds of fish in several spots till everyone has tired wrists, big smiles, and think about some good eatin that was coming their way!
Girls always seem to have the magic touch on these family trips. This trip was no different, as the girls caught the largest and the most fish!
