
Along with the weather, the fishing in Naples and Marco Island is heating up! The water temperatures have reached the low 80’s and the fish have responded accordingly as they move into the summertime patterns. If you want to catch a big snook, or a big tarpon, they are here, and ready to give you the battle of a lifetime! Redfish, Mangrove Snapper, big Jack Crevalle and the rest of the assortment of fish that abound in these waters are also ready to eat your bait!
The big tarpon are on the beaches and they are eating crabs. We start these trips early, so we are out there at sunrise. We’ve been jumping several a trip, the fish fish have been big ones. Here’s a great shot to see what tarpon fishing is all about!






The big snook have been eating in the back country, and are starting to move into the passes. When we are fishing in Naples and Marco Island, the snook been eating live pilchards, threadfin herring, mullet, and mullet chunks. In fact, the biggest fish of the early summer, was a giant 41 inch fish caught 3 days ago, and it ate a chunk of cut mullet on an afternoon charter. The fishing in Naples and Marco is heating up for just about all the other assortment of fun fish to catch as well. In addition to the big snook, we have been catching some really nice redfish, snapper, and Jack Crevalle. Parents with kids have been having a blast catching all kinds of fish with the family, and the trophy hunters have had lots of success with the big redfish, in addition to the big snook and tarpon..
